Temporary storage: This is the weakest and will store your progress only temporary. Whenever you reload the page, all progress will be lost. Whenever you change storage type, all stored data will be copied to the new type and then removed from the old type.
Session storage: This is a little stronger and will store your progress per session. Whenever you close your browser, all progress will be lost. If you load the game in several tabs, your progress will be unique for each tab. Whenever you change storage type, all stored data will be copied to the new type and then removed from the old type.
Local storage: This is the strongest and will store your progress indefinitely. Whenever you delete the data stored locally on your device, all progress will be lost. Whenever you change storage type, all stored data will be copied to the new type and then removed from the old type.

This camera device is normally attached to the all-purpose PDA found elsewhere, but here it has been detached and specialized. The information presented here is also applicable to the parent device.
In this device, there are two filters available (the all-purpose parent device has a lot more): colour filter and mediator filter. The colour filter can be applied to for example images and reveal hidden information. The mediator filter can convert what you see through the camera view and also extract important information.
The settings app is where you set things like how progress is stored (the default is to not store any progress at all, so you might want to start by changing that), what will show up in the camera view, or how filters are visualized. You can also delete all stored data and either restart or quit.
The message app is where event logs are stored. These logs can be of three types, information, warning, or error, and often, no matter the type, contain useful information.
Move the camera around to photograph different parts of what you see. A button will appear in the row below the screen whenever there is something worth taking a photo of (if you have enabled this in the settings, a couple of red dots, forming a square, will also appear on-screen). Some of the available filters can be applied on the camera view and provide extra information or functions. Sometimes when you take a photo, information will be automatically extracted from the photo and logged in the message app.
