I found myself climbing the stairwell of a high-rise block of cheaply built apartments together with a group of other explorers. On each floor, a forest spread without end, only sparsely lit by the stairwell lights, once bright, but now faint and even fainter, smothered by ill and primitive intent. The aim of the game is to reach the top floor, very specifically numbered, but no one has ever succeeded and rumours have it that there is no top floor. We discuss internally whether the developer has somehow tricked us. Someone suggests something we are all quick to deny.
